I loved everything we ate!! The warm chicken soup was wonderful; it had a symphony of spices and perfectly cooked vegetables, the bread was delicately adorned with olive oil, a sprinkle of salt and little leafs of (I think) arugula, the fried cod was exquisite and fresh. And the apple torte was one of the best I've ever eaten in my life; it contained plump raisins, slices of sweet spiced apples, a soft tasty crust, and it was garnished with cream and a few fresh blueberries, delightful!! Not a crumb left on my plate. I am not hungry and already dreaming of returning to Kompaen.
