Definitely the best food I had in Tromsø and a pleasant place with friendly staff, too! Had the reindeer sirloin which was very tender and tasty and a cheese platter as dessert with caramelized bread and fruit.
We had read some good reviews on this restaurant and as we both fancied a reindeer steak we decided to give it a go. We shared a large portion of mussels which were really tasty. Our reindeer steaks were both medium rare and really melted in our mouths. The service was also faultless and would definitely recommend to family & friends.
These guys have a small menu, which they have then given their undivided attention to making utterly awesome; situating it in a friendly, relaxed but stimulating environment, where the proprietor goes on to give each of his guests a feeling of having received the same level of care and attention as the food (and wine list!)

Definitely the best restaurant in Tromsø! The meal was amazing, so fresh! I loved having dinner in such a cozy little restaurant with reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in Tromsø. Also the waiters are very friendly.

This was our best meal in Tromsø. I jad vegetarian barley risotto which was creamy and delicious. My boyfriend had reindeer steak with mash and brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection and I’m so glad we found this restaurant
Amazing little restaurant. We stopped in for lunch to escape the chilly weather. Great selection of dishes and really friendly staff. Never have I had a more delicious burger. Definitely recommend and will return again just for the burger �

We were in Tromsø for a short time and really wanted to try Bardus Bistro, we went for lunch and had an amazing experience! We felt so welcome and the service was fantastic, the food was a modern twist on the Norwegian Cuisine( that's how we tried to explain it to each other while we were eating). We had the reindeer risotto and the cod. We shared both dishes and we had the baked pear, ice-cream and chocolate for désert which we shared. Amazing food! We will be back next time we visit!
Abbiamo fatto una notte a Tromso e guardando tripadvisor e varie recensioni abbiamo scelto di cenare qui al Bardus. Locale molto bello,particolare,il cameriere o titolare molto simpatico,ci ha aiutato a capire i piatti. Mangiato molto bene! Ottimo locale! Prezzi un po' alti ma penso che sia dappertutto così!

I came to Tromsø on a whim a few months ago, and being a millennial Californian, I always seek out great food.
Ordered the fish of the day and it was SO FRESH, and SO AMAZING. Outstanding. I loved the preparation and presentation also fab.
Best bar in Tromsø. Food is awesome, drinks are delicious and the service is superb.
