My husband and I had a fantastic time here. The setting is on the very edge of a beautiful fjord that is teaming with fish. We watched with excitement as the fish jumped for food, like a bubbling sea. The view from our room overlooked the sea and we woke up to the most amazing sight. It was like a painting. I was sore from hiking so I really appreciated the soft, cloud like beds. It was super comfortable on my sore muscles. The room had a large flat screen TV that had local channels. It also had a great little balcony, where we sat and drank coffee in the mornings. The breakfast was the high point in the trip. It was amazing! Delicious buttery scrambled eggs, those tiny smoked sausages that are so additive, cold meats and cheeses. Fresh breads, and baked goods like croissants one day and muffins the next. There was oatmeal, pate and bacon cheese, and a waffle station. Also a big selection of tea, which I really appreciated. It was so nice to wake up and have a great breakfast before going and adventuring.
They also served dinner, which was very good. Also good prices.
I've been to other hotels but this is my all time favorite. We'll be coming back yearly I think.
Beautiful setting, lovely staff and possibly the best salmon we have ever eaten. It won't be 24 years until my next visit.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Bed very comfotable. Highly recommend the restaurant, delicious! Breakfast also nice. Constantine is super helpful:)
